1st day of preschool!!!

Monday afternoon Orson eagerly awaited for
Daddio to return home
with Cousin Ryan, Davis, & Jaron for a barbeque.
He decided we I should draw a dinosaur to greet them...
 

Not only did the boys make dinner,
they entertained Orson...
 

 

They also lightened our plum trees,
the branches are snapping under the weight of this year's crop!
 

 

Daddio grilled while Orson tried to play as many games as possible...
(more on that later!)
 

 

 

 

We had a great day!

Orson, Daddio, & I went to a party to wish Lauren 

good luck as she sets off to earn her PhD.

We all had a great time,

but Orson had a fantastic time!

 downtown to the farmer's market...

 We enjoyed spending time with Ryan...

Orson got to do a little crafting...

(he made a zucchini airplane)

And then we watched a musical puppet show!

After the show we headed to the yummy food booths...

street fair fun

Orson & I decided to check out
 the Hawthorne Street Fair.
We enjoyed wandering through the crowds,
checking out the artisan and food booths...

We found the kid area,
and the funny magician
had Orson instantly laughing...
 

There were bubbles...
 

and hula hoops...
 

And costumes...


And puppets...
 

And dancing...
 

There were many kids, but not a lot of dancers.
The boy in the red shirt loved to boogie.
(maybe even more than orson)
 

It was a great summer day!
