so weird

We don't get a lot of sleep around here. It's made us weird(er) but Orson happily goes along with the shenanigans.

Great Book

Grandma & Grandpa Rogers sent Orson the book "Free To Be You & Me!" ...we've been listening to the cd and now when I sing the songs to Orson, I'll know all the words!

Fun with Aunt Kristin

Orson loved smiling at Aunt Kristin. I think it was partly due to her giving him his first beer.

Orson has a great laugh...

The (no) Rose Garden

Todd and Orson got to see the Rose Garden for the first time. The only problem was the roses hadn't bloomed yet!

Kristin found a rose!

We need to get Orson a sun hat! (He already outgrew the one Grandma Rogers bought)

Kris & Todd lounged near a couple of roses

Picnic with Kris & Todd (& squirrels)

Kristin & Todd celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary while in Portland. We spent the day in the Columbia River Gorge and had a picnic. The weather was beautiful, the food was great and the only nuisance was the crazy bold squirrels! They weren't scared of anything or anyone. The 1st picture shows Byron standing guard over Orson... what a good daddy.

Here's one of the squirrels that terrorized our lunch.

Aunt Kristin & Uncle Todd

Here are a few pictures from Aunt Kristin & Uncle Todd's visit. We had a great time! Orson couldn't stop smiling and staring at his Aunt Kristin!

Orson loved to drool all over his Uncle Todd!

***we'll post more pictures soon!

I'm Hungry!

This is an example of how Orson lets me know he's hungry.

Golden Boy

So while the majority of Orson's clothes have been given to him as gifts or hand-me downs, Byron & I just couldn't resist buying him this fabulous gold adidas track suit!

Video - music soothes the savage baby

Thank you Grandma McConnell for sending the light-up music box. Orson can't resist it!

Family Visitors

Orson loves to have visitors! Grandma McConnell arrived just a few hours after he was born.

Then Grandma & Grandpa Rogers came to see Orson.

Grandpa McConnell was next...

Aunt Marty was the latest to visit.

Aunt Kristin & Uncle Todd will be here in a few days... who's next?

Video - shadow boxing

Here's a video of Orson sitting in his chair and looking into a little mirror. He's rather angry at the other baby!

time flies

Hello to all... Orson is now just over 2 months! He's around 14 pounds and 25 inches long. Every day he becomes more aware of his surroundings, he's also smiling and "talking" to us... so much fun! Here are a few recent pictures.
