happy halloween (part 1)

Orson is a happy little skeleton reading his Halloween book (thank you Grandma Judy) on his first Halloween morning! We decided to eat candy for breakfast to celebrate :) Stay tuned in for more pictures to come throughout the day...

pumpkin hunter

Orson picked out this pumpkin on Wednesday afternoon when we took a trip to the pumpkin patch.

Farmer Don drove us out to the patch with his tractor.

Orson enjoyed the hayride... we sat in the back.

Orson wore his cowboy boots, I wore my rainboots, and we dangled our feet over the edge of the wagon.

Orson found sitting with the pumpkins interesting.

Orson loves his pumpkin!

a little nap

Last Sunday the boys took a little nap together. They looked so cozy I wanted to join them, but I am not a napper (I wish I was!)

so many firsts

This is such a fun time in Orson's life. He is accomplishing so many "firsts." In the above picture, he is sitting in a restaurant high chair for the first time. When Grandma Sarah was visiting and we went shopping, Orson got a little fussy in his stroller. Grandma whisked him away and a few minutes later, they walked by with Orson sitting in a shopping cart (and loving it). I almost cried!

the latest fun

Orson loves his exersaucer (Daddy & I have been eating dinner together!) He is also finding new ways to make it amuse him...

jump orson jump

Orson enjoys sitting in his doorway jumper that Grandma Sarah bought him. He's not quite jumping yet, but he loves to spin.

Happy Birthday Naomi! Hope you have a great day (the boys better spoil you rotten)!

saturday morning music

Between Daddy's homework and Orson & my cooties, we decided to stay home from market this weekend. We had a nice morning with Daddy & Orson playing a little acoustic guitar.

video- running man

Orson loves to "run in place" on the changing table, in a bath, and in the living room (sorry downstairs neighbor)!

teeth

If you look closely, you can see Orson's bottom teeth are starting to show!

happier note

Orson is feeling better...

sickos

Orson & I are sick. I felt lousy yesterday and I had my suspicions that he didn't feel good either. While we were taking a bath together, he looked up at me and threw up (on me) (4 times to be exact). Poor little guy.

grandma!

Orson & I just dropped Grandma Sarah off at the airport. We had a fantastic visit with Grandma (although it was too short). Grandma spoiled us! She cooked, did the dishes, took us shopping (I can't wait to post pictures of Orson in his exersaucer and doorway jumper).

Orson & Grandma spent some time reading together...

and they played with toys...

and Orson showed her how well he eats!
We miss her already...

shopkeeper orson

Orson is such a good boy when we work at the store. To make the 7 hours pass by faster I set up his blanket and toys behind the desk and in the dressing room. Orson loves to look at himself in the mirror (he must get that from Daddy :).

We've started embroidering some onesies (it's hard to find good clothes for both boys and girls, although you all have managed to send Orson some adorable things!) Here's a small sampling of our latest endeavor...

Orson & Daddy

Orson can't wait for Daddy to get home every day! When Byron walks in the door he laughs, squeals and tries to jump out of my arms to get to Daddy.

seven months!

Orson can hide from Mommy and Daddy but he can't hide from his seven month birthday!

can i have some?

We rarely go out to eat. But, yesterday since Byron is on Fall Break, we took an adventurous (and unplanned) trip out to the coast. We stopped at our favorite place to eat in Astoria (The Columbian Cafe, soooo yummy!) Orson waited patiently while we ate... although it's a little hard to eat with those big eyes staring at you and your plate!
