Aunt Tristan stayed with us for a few days while on her poetry tour.  Orson loved playing and being silly with her...

She bought him a super stylish shirt (and jacket) & showed him the proper way to wear it...

on the road again!

Sorry I haven't updated the blog lately but Orson & I have been busy driving around in our new (to us) van!  The van was shipped from Indiana and was packed full of amazing goodies from the farm and friends!  A million thanks to Grandma Judy & Grandpa Bruce for making this happen.  We love all the treats that arrived, and we were very touched by all the love and thoughtfulness that went into the van... 

 

Orson is head over heels for the tractor that Grandpa Bruce restored for him!  Here's a little video of Orson & Grandpa David taking it for a spin...

Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, and Patsy for all your loving hard work...   we can't wait to take you all for a spin when you come see us for Thanksgiving!

pumpkin season

While Grandpa was visiting we went pumpkin picking.  Orson wore (most of) the Superman costume that Grandpa brought him...

Orson pointed us in the right direction...            

The weather was sunny and beautiful...

Farmer Don drove us out to the pumpkin patch...

We enjoyed the ride to the pumpkins...

A lot of people were there but Orson was the only one dressed in a costume...

After picking the perfect pumpkins we enjoyed some lunch before heading home...

grandpa david!!!!!

Grandpa David came to see us last week!  Orson was excited to show him our new house...

Grandpa & Orson had fun joking around...

We had some great meals...

They took a little walk in the rain...

Thursday nights are turning out to be our fun nights (well, every night with Orson is a fun night).  We went to a Market party held at a local brewery.  The smile on Orson's face was a result of seeing Ayla & Micah...

Orson & I were excited to have the car on Thursday (Daddio was working from home).  My first thought was to run errands (we usually walk to grocery shop) but the weather was incredible (86 degrees!) so we headed to the zoo...
