Day at the Market

We are at the Portland Saturday Market every weekend. Byron heads to market early Saturday morning and sets the booth up while Orson & I take the train down later in the morning. There is no shortage of vendors wanting to hold and snuggle Orson.
Below is one of my favorite pictures from Saturday. Our dressing room is such a convenient place to do a diaper change. Micah helped Byron with the change, he's not afraid of a diaper!

Orson loves to be in Naomi's arms.

Then he relaxed in her arms.

Have I mentioned that Micah is a photographer? He's only 4 years old but takes some great pictures! It's like having the paparazzi around because you never know when he's snapping your picture. If you don't see him in the picture, he most likely took it.

Happy Birthday to Daddy! Byron's happy it's his birthday but sad that Michael Jackson has passed away. Orson & I thought we should share the above picture of Byron in his Michael Jackson jacket! Did Grandma Rogers keep the jacket for her grandson?

A Gift from Aunt Marty

Aunt Marty bought Orson a John Deere shirt. It's perfect to wear to Grandma & Grandpa Rogers' farm when we visit this summer.

Orson loved seeing his Aunt Martha this past weekend.

After trying to eat Aunt Marty's tatoos, Orson took a long nap in her arms.

They napped a little together early Saturday morning while I helped get Byron off to market.

Orson loved staring & giggling at his Aunt Marty. We can't wait to see her again.

Ernie

Orson and Ernie are good friends. Ernie was one of Byron's toys that Grandma Rogers saved and passed down to Orson. Ernie is a great sport and never loses his smile while Orson tosses him around and chews on him.

mini mobi

Orson is usually happy to go for a ride in his stroller. He's been even happier since I attached a "mini mobi" to the handlebars of his stroller. Our great friend Leah creates these fantastic small mobiles that you can hang anywhere (rear view mirror, computer, window, etc). Orson is so adorable when he sleeps. I find myself gazing at him instead of doing the million things that need to be done. (sew! clean! blog! nap?)

Orson loves to watch Byron play the guitar. Orson's starting to practice his strumming so he can be a rock star when he grows up!

Orson is a happy baby but when he cries, he means it!

He is only around 1 month old in these pictures. I need to capture some current meltdowns.

our latest visitors

Orson, Byron & I were thrilled when we received a visit from Mike & Maybelle Traut (Orson's great-great uncle & aunt), who were in Portland for their granddaughter's graduation. They came by our store (http://www.splurgeportland.com/) and we had a wonderful time.

tummy time

Orson enjoys time on his belly. He can roll from his tummy to his back. I think this kiddo will be crawling around in no time! Time to start baby-proofing our home!
