aunt kristin & uncle todd!!!

Aunt Kristin & Uncle Todd came to visit us last week... 

We walked to the rose garden...Orson made Kris & Todd chase him all over the gardens... he especially loved going  up & down the steps with Aunt Kristin (over and over again)...Uncle David & Aunt Rosemary took us to breakfast (thank you!) when they passed through town on Friday...

We took the bus to Splurge one afternoon... Uncle Todd & Orson wildly chased each other up and down the block...

Orson became very comfortable with Kris & Todd...  One night while waiting for food at a pub, Orson & Aunt Kris played outside.  See the the menancing creature in the polka dots?  Orson held onto Kris until the little girl proved trustworthy...Hee, hee... after a bath, Orson wanted to watch videos with Aunt Kris...Orson had to stop and rest while playing with Uncle Todd...I'll share the story about the giraffe in a later post...

summer!

It finally feels like summer here in Portland.  It's especially warm at the shop because the air-conditioner broke!

On a "normal" day Orson wears pants and no hat, but today he wanted to sport his hat and no pants...

long, fun weekend

This weekend was full of great things like getting to see cousin Jennie, cousin Larry and Larry's parents, Pam and Dean.  We loved seeing them (I haven't seen Jennie since Kris & Todd's wedding!)  Congratulations to Jennie & Larry on their upcoming wedding!

In the morning while we're setting up for market, Jerry the potter entertains Orson by juggling.  Orson has started to try to juggle as well...

Sunday night we celebrated Father's Day with homemade pizza, cupcakes and chocolate.  Orson fell in love with the chocolate and stayed up late, buzzing around with sugary energy.

coast post

We are back from our trip to the coast! Orson got to stay in a yurt at Fort Stevens State Park.

After settling into our little yurt we went to the beach. It was a windy day but Daddio & I have a secret favorite beach spot that is sheltered and perfect.

Orson & I were/are fighting a cold. The fresh air and sunshine did us well...

Orson loved the yurt and the beach and we can't wait to go back...

We are escaping Portland for a quick overnight trip to the coast. Orson will be staying in a yurt for the first time. Stay tuned for pictures of sand & sun!

Orson loves music. He can't stop himself from humming along and moving. Today the elevator broke and it was pouring rain so we danced a lot...

oh the places you will go...

So we still needed to celebrate Leah's birthday and there was an annual all ages show at the local drag queen theater (it's a fundraiser for a local charity). Leah, Naomi, Micah, Orson & I went to check it out...

Micah got pulled on stage and is a natural... hmmnnn, maybe he'll be a actor or a rock star...

The show was loud and Orson decided we should leave early... but we had fun while we were there... thanks for the fun night all!

Orson enjoys hanging out at market for a little while in the morning and then he and Daddio go home for most of the day. Orson has quickly adjusted to market life, he sees our booth as his little home away from home...

15 months!!!

Orson is 15 months old today! He has changed so much but some things have stayed the same...
