One of Orson's favorite things to say lately is
"Daddy is my best friend."

Orson has always enjoyed music.

 (this morning in the car he said "i love rock n' roll)

He has started coming up with his own songs.

Today Orson has been singing one of my favorites... "Daddy is a Dinosaur."

And last night he sang (the soon to be classic) "I Want Cheesy Noodles."

Between being sick and rainy days, 

Orson & I are finding new ways to have fun indoors.

Orson suggested we have a picnic inside.

He picked out the food

so we enjoyed tomato soup, sunflower seeds,

tortilla chips and raisins...

Orson spent Valentine's Day feeling sick

so I'll share some pictures from our family's outing

on Sunday to the "big kid" playground...

Since it's been over a week since I've updated the blog,
I'll do a little review starting with
last Saturday...
we had sun!

Orson & I made Daddio put down his books
and we took a long drive along the Columbia River...

We ended up in St. Helens, Oregon
and found a great playground right by the river...

The boats and fishermen were fun to watch...

And lastly we had to get a little nourishment
in the form of an ice cream sundae...

Orson has been stomping around town in his new pair of cowboy boots...

Leah came and spent Wednesday with us!

She and Orson took a car ride ending with Orson napping

We did a little shopping

and Orson got a "cool" helmut,

which made for fun good-bye kisses and nose-rubs...
