Orson ate pancakes for the first time on Saturday morning and found them delicious!

Orson receives great toys from Aunt Kristin & Uncle Todd. Two of Orson's favorites are Mr. Lamb and Woodrow and I am glad they play well together.

The weather lately has been sunny and warm. We've been having a lot of fun at our neighborhood parks. Orson loves the swings and slides!

craft/play day

On Monday morning we went to a crafting day at Ann's house. Naomi & Micah picked us up (thank you for the ride).

We left our toy-filled living room to visit Ann & Ayla's toy-filled home. Ayla shared her toys and Orson was in heaven!

Micah is incredibly patient. Ayla is a beautiful ball of energy who loves to climb all over him and Orson is constantly poking at Micah's eyes and tugging at his ears & hair.

Did I mention we met to craft (although I haven't crafted in a year!) Here are the ladies working on the latest project and catching up on the latest news.

On the way home, Micah sang Orson a lullaby which promptly put Orson to sleep. Nice work Micah!

early birthday gift

Orson got a birthday gift from Grandma & Grandpa McConnell... a fun toy chair/step stool. What a good time we have sitting and standing on the chair.

I asked Orson to clean his room. He did a great job... the inside of his dresser is spotless!

In the morning I feed Orson his yogurt/fruit/rice cereal. He remains relatively clean but then it's his turn to feed himself egg yolks, oatmeal, and toast. Things can get a bit messy.

super sunday

Orson got up super early on super bowl sunday.
He ran around super fast.

He was super happy to watch football with family & friends (thanks for coming over Zach & Liz).

Orson became super interested in Daddy's beer.

Even though the Colts lost we had a super day.

The boys enjoy a snack of cheese & crackers. Orson always checks his shirt for any misplaced yummies.

first plate and seventh tooth

I served Orson his snack today on a plate (with edges). It came with a suction cup to hold the plate down but I wanted to see how long it would take him to dump the food. His attention was held for a good while but the desire to fling food won over. Oh, and Orson's new teeth (#5 & #6) have inspired a seventh tooth to make an appearance. Three new teeth coming in at the same time... yikes!

11 months!
