Orson threw a barbecue on Thursday night.  Leah, Naomi, Yeder, Micah, Matt, Ann & Ayla came by for some food and fun...

Orson took everyone to the park next door...He showed off his sliding skills...

These kiddos are growing up so fast...Orson can't wait to barbecue again!

Orson loves hats... wait, let me rephrase that... he loves the idea of hats.  We have been collecting different hats to play with... cowboy, fireman, baseball, and Orson will insist on wearing one, for a short time, until he decides it looks better (or should I say funnier) on me or Mr. Lamb.

(don't worry grandparents, the string has been removed from the cowboy hat) :)

Naomi & Micah took time out of their busy schedules (Micah is in Kindergarten!) and stopped by to see us...   Orson made sure they took home plenty of plums...Orson showed them his playroom...Micah filled the house with music...The boys also managed to squeeze in a few rounds of video golf...

Thanks for coming over... we can't wait to grill...  (don't worry Micah, we'll have cookies too!)

last rasberries

Our days are becoming rainy (oh no! not yet!) and Orson & I discovered the last few rasberries in the yard...

cousin ryan!

Cousin Ryan (RJ) came to see us at our new home.  His boyfriend Matt just moved to Portland and RJ will be moving here shortly... yay!The guys were fantastic with Orson.  As I made dinner I could hear Orson's loud giggles...After dinner we went to a party at Maggie, Ann, & Ayla's house...Orson and Ryan admired the sunflowers...Look closely at this picture... I wonder what Orson & Micah were playing with...Apparently Orson tried to kiss Ayla at the party, but she got shy and ran away!  Thanks for visiting Ryan & Matt!  We look forward to having family nearby!

When Grandma saw the poor neglected swingset sitting by the house she begged Grandpa to fix it up for Orson.  When Orson saw the "new" swingset he started happily squealing and stomping his feet!Orson swung for over an hour...

Grandma Judy & Grandpa Bruce came to Oregon to see our new house!  We had a great visit full of food, fun, and home improvements.Orson learned Grandma's spagetti sauce recipe...

  We celebrated Grandma Judy's birthday...Grandpa & Daddio put together our grill (without instructions!).  We've been grilling every night...We took Grandpa to a classic car show.  Orson showed off his wheels...

Thank you for the great visit Grandma & Grandpa!  We love you!
