baby on board

I'll admit Byron & I were nervous about the plane ride. Naomi picked us up at 4:15am to drop us off at the airport (thank you, thank you, thank you Naomi!) We were thrilled that Orson turned out to be a great traveler! Our seatmate was also happy.

Grandpa David called us while we were heading to pick up our bags. His flight to Florida for business was delayed so we got to give him a hug before he went out of town for the day.

When it was time to fly back to Portland (sigh), Byron & I were once again nervous. We thought maybe Orson was good on the flight to Chicago because it was in the morning. On our night flight back home Orson impressed us and everyone on the plane by being the BEST BABY EVER! As we landed I heard people commenting on how good he had been. And while Byron collected our luggage, Orson was given endless compliments.

Oh, next time you use the airplane's bathroom, unfold the changing table for fun. Orson & I couldn't resist taking a few pictures in the bathroom.
Thank you Leah for picking us up! Leah even bought Orson a welcome home gift. He loves his new guitar onesie (a picture will be posted soon).
